• Effects
  
  • Specular turns highlights on/off
  • Diffuse Gain contrast effect
  • Effects off
• Performance
  • Detail shows full detail
  • Speed  uses a sample of the actual image, and scale it to full size
  • Speed w/Hints  uses bilinear interpolation to scale the image
• Light Source
  • Directional is the default setting
    
  • Local  displays slider which may be used to adjust the Z-axis distance.  More expensive option.
    
  • Spotlight a special lighting effect, looks like a spotlight.
    
• Default resets all menu settings
  
• Animate check this Box to animate.  Dragging the mouse supspends animation.

Highlights Menu

• kSpec is the degree of specular highlights
• kDiff is the degree of diffuse lighting
• exp is the hightlight size (low value = spread out, high = sharper)
  

Diffuse Gain - slider controls the degree of the effect
Local and Spot light - slider controls the degree distance of the light on the Z-axis
